Cybersecurity Europe Referent
JOB PURPOSE

Location: Budapest or Madrid or Varese (Italy)
The Cybersecurity Europe Referent report to Group CISO based in France.
He will be responsible for managing the cybersecurity approach within EMEA geographical perimeter within the organization.
JOB CONTEXT

Our Client is Legrand, a prominent multinational company operating in the industrial environment.
Considering the dynamically evolving cyber threat landscape, our client is committed to keep the cybersecurity risk at a controlled level. Consequently, it endorses the deployment of a common Group policy (LISP), in alignment with best industry standards (NIST CSF and ISO 27001/2).
The EU CISO is a key element in Group Cybersecurity organization in ensuring the adoption and implementation of the Cybersecurity policies and processes within its scope. The EU CISO works closely with the Group CISO, the Zones business managers, the Country managers and their Cybersecurity referents, the cybersecurity community, etc.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Planning and Objective Setting
- Define strategic cybersecurity objectives aligned with Group goals and local regulations.
- Collaborate with management to validate and implement these objectives.
- Engage in continuous assessment and refinement of strategic axes to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation
- Evaluate local cybersecurity risks comprehensively to identify potential vulnerabilities.
- Develop and implement organizational and technical measures to mitigate identified risks.
- Monitor the effectiveness of implemented measures and adjust strategies as needed to enhance resilience against cyber threats.
Governance and Management Structure Establishment
- Establish robust governance and management structures to oversee security action plans across diverse entities within the organization.
- Foster collaboration and communication among stakeholders to ensure effective implementation and enforcement of security measures.
- Provide guidance and support to local teams in adhering to established cybersecurity protocols and procedures.
Incident Management and Crisis Response
- Play a pivotal role in managing security incidents and mitigating the impact of potential crises.
- Lead coordinated responses to security breaches, involving relevant stakeholders and executing predefined action plans.
- Continuously improve incident response processes based on lessons learned and emerging threats to enhance organizational resilience.
Community Engagement and Reporting
- Actively engage with the EMEA cybersecurity community to foster a culture of awareness and collaboration.
- Enhance reporting mechanisms to facilitate transparent communication of cybersecurity compliance progress.
- Support countries in understanding and aligning with cybersecurity objectives and processes, fostering a cohesive approach to risk management and mitigation.
SPECIFIC SKILLS

- Fluent in English
- Willingness to travel internationally within the requirements of the position
- University degree in the field of computer science or equivalent OR a university degree in Communication and Change Management or equivalent with a high appetency on technology topics
- Specialized knowledge of cybersecurity.
- In-depth knowledge of Information Systems.
- In-depth knowledge of security technologies and related tools.
- Ability to interact with business lines and understand the organization's challenges.
- In-depth knowledge of governance, norms and standards in the field of security: ISO standards (2700X), NIST CSF, Risk Management.
EXPERIENCE
—
- Related work experience in IT related positions with at least 5 years experience in Cybersecurity Governance
- Significant experience acquired in a multinational environment, preferably in a matrix structure
- Experience in ITIL based organizations
- Proven track record in security related positions.
